Driving My MINI: Most Popular of 2012

By MINI Owner & Blogger, John Lindauer.

2012 was a great year for Driving My MINI - thanks to everyone for reading, commenting, retweeting, liking and following! Much Appreciated!

Driving My MINI posted a lot of stories this year covering a wide variety of topics. Some stories, to be honest, didn't do so well. However, other posts sparked so much interest that Driving My MINI hit new  milestones! Here are five stories that were crazy popular and continued to get visits all year long.

1) This year MINI brought to market a Neon line of accessories. The popularity of this story goes to show how much MINI motorers love to customize their cars. See why MINI Introduces Neon was one of the most popular stories on Driving My MINI.

2) Music goes hand-in-hand with motoring and summer 2012 held motorers hostage with pop music that seemed like it would never go away. Don't get me wrong...I liked a lot of the music but enough was enough! Summer Motoring Music Memories recapped what we listened to this summer and it was one of the most popular stories on Driving My MINI.

3) In 2012 we saw a major focus on curbing distracted driving. Navigation systems are one of the biggest distracted driving culprits. This review of MINIConnect was not only the third most popular Driving My MINI story this year but encouraged Part 2 and Part 3 follow ups.

4) As gas prices hit record highs in 2012, many of us took to making the most out of every drop of gasoline. Hypermiling on Steroids explained how I got an all time mileage high from one tank of fuel.

5) A loaner car led to this Roadster Madness story. After driving this car for a weekend I was ready to trade in my MINI Cooper for some 2-seater convertible Roadster love!
